She has a fleeting moment when she thinks her life is finally getting back on track. It lasts a short time; sometimes minutes, maybe an hour, day at the most and then it’s gone.
Then she is back to the way she feels most regularly. Sometimes it is almost comforting to be back in a familiar atmosphere, but not comfortable.
She is starting to feel numbness instead of anything else. She doesn’t know how to act or what to do anymore. Her fears and anxieties are only intensifying.
She just wants to retreat into her own mind – where it is safe. Wants to cut everyone out. Finding herself at a standstill.
She is just here. Utterly numb.
